Final Report: Train Derailment near Boulder, CO (Powder River Division - Front Range Subdivision)

On Thursday, August 22, 2024, at approximately 11:13 P.M. CDT, we received a preliminary report of a train derailment near Boulder, CO which has affected the main track. Boulder, CO is approximately 28 miles Northwest of Denver, CO. BNSF personnel responded and assessed the site. The main track was returned to service at 1600 P.M. CDT on Saturday, August 24, 2024.
