BNSF Coal: Thanksgiving 2024 Operating Plan

This year, BNSF will observe the Thanksgiving holiday on Thursday, November 28, and Friday, November 29. Coal trains - both loaded and empty - will continue to operate according to normal schedules. 

CUSTOMER SUPPORT 
For interactive tracing 365 days a year, please use BNSF’s Tracing web tool by logging in to the BNSF Customer Portal with your username and password and selecting the Trace tab on the Home page. If you have questions regarding a shipment(s), please utilize the Message Us feature on the BNSF Customer Portal (must be registered/logged in to access) or contact BNSF Customer Support at 1-888-428-2673.
 
Customer Support will maintain a limited staff on Thanksgiving Day and Friday, November 29. Normal coverage will resume on Saturday, November 30.
